On our way back home (to the chunnel) we came across this supermarket and thought that we'd stop off to top up with wine and freshly baked goods. Really nice.

Always come shopping here before going on somewhere else, this time Amsterdam, Great variety of produce and very conveniently located when you come off the train. In the summer we go for fresh artichokes, asparagus, avocados etc. all fresh and lovely. The fish department is...More

We still love popping into Auchan for wine and groceries. Despite it not being as cheap as it used to be due to the exchange rate there are still bargains to be had. Especially on French wine. Also, we love the meat and cheese counter....More

Big store but has everything that you need. British supermarkets could learn a thing or two about the quality of fresh fish, vegetable and deli. The smells are amazing and tempting. We use Auchan for French food, deals on good quality French wines and beers....More

If you go with PO Barefoot wine is £18 for 6 bottles. Half price to UK. Also I found Prosecco is now expensive in France. I expect this is because it’s popular. They also have 3ltr boxes 2 for £16
