19th century construction that looks interesting from afar, but upon close eyesight, there is nothing remarkable about it inside or outside it.
Unless you have time to kill in Calais, should be avoided.
When Calais decided to build a Town Hall they didn't do things by halves, they built one of the most impressive buildings I have seen recently. The exterior architecture is stunning, and the bell tower is well worth climbing

Stopped off just to take a few photographs, but was enticed into the gardens - and whilst I'm not really a 'gardens' type of person, these were stunning - particularly the small, enclosed garden where you can follow a story. Beautiful.
