As part of the admission cost you get a tour of the caves beneath the city and then access to the Belfry, which gives amazing views of the city.

As the surrounding countryside is so flat you have great views for some distance. However saying that there is not a lot to see but it is good to get your bearings.

Although most of the ascent is by elevator, be aware that the last part of the ascent is using a traditional metal spiral staircase. The view is worth it.

You will have a great view over the city of Arras. Maybe you will be able to see the Abbaye de Mont-Saint-Eloi too.

If there is something to climb you can bet that we will do it. Always great to not only see the views but also get a good idea of the layout of the town. This was an easy one, a lift for most of the...More

Visited the bell tower of the beautiful town hall of Arras. Tickets were available in the tourist office within the same building. The lift takes you much of the way to the viewing level, but there is a fairly steep spiral staircase which needs to...More

Take the tour it was worth every Euro. Not for the faint of heart the last bit to the top is up some stairs inside the Bell Tower.
