The Belfry offers great views of the city and overlooks the town's main plaza. It is a quick tour. Strongly recommend going to the tourism office and buying a package ticket. You can get a combo with Wellington tunnels, Boves, and the Belfry. (Or any...More

We were drinking in the square so why not? There is a lift most of the way up and spiral staircase to finish. Great views can be had from here. Definitely worth a few mins if your time if you are in the square.

We bought tickets for this as a €1 add on to the Wellington Tunnel tickets. Good value for €1 as a nice little extra to a visit to the main squares below for a coffee. A lift takes you most of the way up, then...More

Squeezed in a quick trip up the Belfry . Great views - lift most of way then scarey circular stairs for last bit with open treads. Labelling on boards could have been a bit more accurate but pointed out major landmarks

As part of the admission cost you get a tour of the caves beneath the city and then access to the Belfry, which gives amazing views of the city.

As the surrounding countryside is so flat you have great views for some distance. However saying that there is not a lot to see but it is good to get your bearings.

Although most of the ascent is by elevator, be aware that the last part of the ascent is using a traditional metal spiral staircase. The view is worth it.

You will have a great view over the city of Arras. Maybe you will be able to see the Abbaye de Mont-Saint-Eloi too.

This is well worth it for the views over arras . Check the opening times before to avoid disappointment. The ascent involves going downstairs, taking a small lift and then walking up a tight spiral staircase. This is all fine and makes the views worthwhile....More

Did this to pass the time before exploring the tunnels down below, and can be purchased at a discount with the ‘boves’ and the wellington tunnels, which are both worth a visit. We tried the stairs, but they are blocked off, you have to take...More
