This is a beautiful and extensive square with awesome architecture. Amazing to think it was right in the centre of two World Wars.

That looks even more impressive at night, when lit. During our visit, the centre of the Place housed a magnificent Ferris Wheel. Great architecture, magnificent buildings, great restaurants

The square is reconstructed after the damage of WW1. However, if is a beautiful square but currently contains a Ferris wheel. I’m not convinced this adds anything. The Adjoining square is probably better better as it is not obstructed by a giant wheel. Do visit...More

Very lovely square with beautifully preserved houses, unfortunately this big square is used as a car park. There are a few places to eat nearby.
