Lovely Island. Lots of history and scenic views. Highly recommend walking the island and exploring all the nooks and crannies! Dont forget to bring your bathing suit.

Take the ferry and enjoy this lovely island with sandy beaches, typical tiny harbours and villages.Quite charming

The Ile de Groix is a short and picturesque 45min ferry crossing (€30 return each from Lorient), and a joy to visit and cycle round.

The ferry was a tad expensive but the island was beautiful. We cycled around most of the island and the views were breathtaking. I would recommend taking a picnic as round the northern end of the island there are not a lot of restaurants etc....More
