We went on a tour in Calvi Citadel to hear more about the city history. The entrance is free and you can walk around in the cosy streets and looking out over the mediterranian sea. The legends says that Christopher Columbus was born in the...More

Quite high up so the streets are a bit of a climb, but nothing too strenuous, well worth it for the views over Calvi and the bay. There is a great Pizza restaurant there, lovely guy who owns it. But if it's a special occasion...More

Not much there. There is no charge, but there are some great views from the top. Great view of the sunset.

Really enjoyed wandering round the streets and alley ways that form the Citadel. You can sense being back in the history of the place. I’d recommend using the map only to work out whether you’ve seen the key sights and then just go with your...More

Visiting the citadel offered a great view both to the port and the sea along with the rocky seaside.

Worth a visit for the views alone. A short walk up the hill from the old port, but worthwhile for the views from the terrace

Strolling through the streets behind the massive walls one can sense the history inscribed in this historical gem originated from XII century. The views from the wall toward the bay are worth the effort.
