This is a MUST visit attraction and the highlight of our time in Chiang Mai. Rather than book an expensive taxi to get here (we heard that could be up to USD$80), we hired a scooter for the day, and it was super easy to...More

How'd a private taxi service to take my family 5 to the Sticky Waterfall and we had tons of fun. Climbing down and then back up was exciting and one of the most fun workouts you can get. My children enjoyed themselves ( ages 14,13,...More

We had a driver for the day. We arrived and grabbed food at one of the huts located before getting to the falls. IT was the far left one. We sat on a mat with our driver and ate. Locals were here swimming in some...More

After reading reviews we decided to head over here on our first day as only spending a few nights in chiang mai. We took a red taxi there and took about an hour and quarter from south of the city walls for 1500 baht for...More

The waterfalls were fun and very refreshing after a long journey from Bangkok. We hired Peung (Pornpimon Puntiya) as a driver and her nice SUV for the day to visit. The price was very reasonable. Peung came well prepared with water bottles for us. She...More

Best free thing to do! Make sure you go early - mid morning as it got busy around lunch time. So easy to find if travelling independently (as we did from Chiang Mai). The rocks are really easy to climb up and down, places to...More

My boyfriend and I rented a scooter from Chiang Mai and drove about an hour and ten minutes to the waterfall. We had seen this as an attraction on tours, but doing it ourselves was so much cheaper and gave us freedom to enjoy the...More

We overheard someone recommending the sticky waterfalls to someone else. We looked into it and decided to go. It's in a national park and the whole area is amazing. The falls themselves are something to behold, the limestone formations make it possible to climb with...More

Yea I think this is definitely possible. You may at the end have to carry them up or down stairs depending on how tired they are but as far as the water levels go it’s actually perfect for a toddler to sit in and relax :)

A great day out is to head to Chiang Dao & do the jungle trail from the temple to the cave & then on the way back to Chiang Mai head to the Buatong falls. We paid a driver with a decent car 1500 for the day.
