This promenade is simply wonderful. The views, of course, are spectacular, and the walkway is spacious and well-kept. There is at least one area that allows you access to the beach, which my friends and I took advantage of, and the beach is also pristine....More

A bit out of season so very quiet. Some cafes and bars still open and the harbour and promenade very picturesque. As in most of Italy the place comes alive at night. Our highlight was a boat trip to visit various caves.

It's a lovely town and a great place to walk and people watch. Enjoy the harbour and the break wall out to the sea.

We went out of season so most things were closed but it was a very pretty place. There was a little cafe open where you can have a drink and watch the sea.

Arrived in the middle of siesta. Not many people out and about. Only a few restaurants open, but well worth the walkabout.

The beaches near Vieste are wide, shallow water and thin sand. The landscape is balanced between the green nature and the city on the rock. No large concrete building to jeopardise the view

Best you ask the owners of the b&b most of the old town is pedestrianised- we did see some cars and said what a nightmare would be. Best of luck.
