If you arrive in Calabria do not hesitate to visit Tropea. Old buildings, stone-paved streets, great places with excellent dishes.

Tropea is a great historic city with an enjoyable and walkable core, high on the cliffside, overlooking the sea. The beach a few hundred feet below is awesome and the boat trips along the coast are enjoyable for all ages. The fishing tour is a...More

Lots of nice restaurants, a few breathtaking viewpoints and two wonderful beaches - in town. For longer stays, Tropea might become a little boring.

Beautiful beach and a very cool old town with lots of little alley ways to meander thru. It is very apparent that they don’t want outsiders to know about there little piece of paradise. While some establishments were very welcoming others not so much.
