We spent a day in Sulmona and this was our favourite spot. Although there is a road along the edge of the square generally it is a quiet scenic little square with a statue in the middle of Ovid. Some places for a drink etc...More

There is a statue of the city's much loved Ovid. The Piazza is framed by some lovely buildings but it is very quiet.

A nice little square to visit and stop for a coffee.The best traditional shop selling confetti(sweets) can be found in this square.

We visiting this beautiful town square while exploring Sulmona. The stature is of Ovid, a Roman poet from there.The area is both historic and helpful, the tourist office is not far from there in the historic church in the same square and a good pizza...More

This is one of the main squares of the city but is a lovely spot and well worth seeing, There is a a bronze statue of the Roman poet Ovid.- one of the 2 famous ones and good to have seen.
