Lovely place to visit. The mosaic flooring is amazing and although only a small museum it is worth the 3 euro entrance fee to see such good examples. My only comment would be to remove the 'modern art' that is placed on each floor. I...More

An underground Roman House dating back to the 1st century AD & believed to be owned by Vespasia Polla , the mother of the Emperor Vespasian . Worth a visit for the floor mosaics .

So much better than we expected, with complete mosaic floors and lots of interesting finds. The people at the desk were generous with their time and knowledge.

This a nice little space under the town hall. It helps to understand how Romans lived. Beautiful mosaic floors.

We loved seeing this unique find, but did not enjoy the modern art stuck right dab in the middle. It ruins the ruins!

If you are in Spoleto, spend the 3 euros to see this. Just for the mosaic floors which look like tapestry, and the for the understanding of how clever Romans were at collecting water.
