The sculpture is in front of the railway station. It was erected with funds from the EU as Spoleto holds artistic festivals every year.

The Open AIr Sculpture is very modern and does not fit with the beautiful surroundings of Spoleto. It seems very out of place

You step out of the train station and this is what you see. I think this 1960's modern "art" is hideous. It is gigantic and immediately blocks what would otherwise be a lovely view of Spoleto up on the hilltop. Don't bother going to it.

This sculpture is located just outside of the train station in Spoleto. It is there since the early 1960's but looks a bit neglected now. It's nice to see such a modern sculpture with the backdrop of the old town.
