Small beach awash with seaweed!!!
Aug 2017 • Family
The beach can be accessed after driving through the Pinus settlement. We got there about 3pm and it wasn't very busy at all. I expect the locals got wind of the piles and piles of seaweed washed up on the shoreline. In fact I have never seen that much seaweed!!
At the shoreline if I stood next to it it would come up to my knees. And as the sea was washing in to the shore big chunks were falling back in to the sea.
Dont get me wrong, wading through seaweed to get out to clearer water is not an issue for me. It was just the small was a bit over powering sometimes if the wind blew in your direction. To be fail, there was a bit of a wind as well and the currents were quite strong and the water went out fairly deep quite quickly so playing in the water with feet on the sand was quite limited.
We came to this beach as we nearly booked an apartment overlooking this beach but I'm glad we didnt get it.
Sand was clean and there was no rubbish. As the winds were up there was a lifeguard on the look out and we felt very safe.
Having been to the crystal clear waters of Chia beach just up the road we wondered why we were at this beach at all!!!
I expect if there was no seaweed this would be very busy. We deliberately arrived quite late to miss the crowds

Beautiful small beach
Jul 2016 • Family
Beautiful little beach where life goes on as usual. We have been there in July and September , and there is great demand for the good seats in July . In the nearby surroundings of this beach , there are good opportunities to find small secret beaches that can only be met from the sea.

Stayed here in off-season. Very quiet but nice beach

Rented an apartment here in end of October. Only a few other families around to enjoy a nice beach. Nothing was open so can't comment on how it is during the summer. Lots of cats though if you are into that.

Great beach in residential area but it is packed like sardines in high season
Sep 2015 • Family
Residential area which leads to a really nice little sandy bay with clear water - subject to wind conditions of course. We took snorkelling equipment but didn't see any fish. It gets very crowded in high season (as do most of the decent beaches) as it is used by the occupants of the many residential apartments. The beach bar is ok, not terribly friendly, plastic chairs, been to much better! The bar turns into an overpriced resturant from 8pm at night. Food is good and view is lovely but you will pay over 30% more than Resturants in Pula for that beach side experience.
Nice diversion from Pula but I wouldn't take a special trip here unless you go outside July and August. Parking can be an issue.

Lovely beach

You can walk from here to the next beach in an old roman path. Amazing! It is not a difficult break at all.

not worth the effort

nothing to look at, looked like a residential area, got straight back on the bus after a walk down to the beach .
