We walked the Santiero Degli Dei from Praiano to Nocelle and passed this deserted convent on the way. It's a good hike from the town but once there, the views are stunning. The 14th century frescoes and the abandoned cells are worth the hike alone,...More

Beautiful spot, great views, despite the need to climb 1000 steps to get there. Made us appreciate our pasta at dinner. There is a man with a dog who sells drinks at the top if you're desperate.

Hiking is one of the features of our vacation without it we are not vacationing , going up to this place with its serenity and the view is really beautiful not only mentioning the simplicity of the convent which is nice and great feeling.

On a sunny afternoon I hiked up from Praiano. Once I arrived at the convent I went into explore. It was an interesting window into what life must have been like while living there

I really didn't think the convent was terrible, just to comment on the hike, we are pretty fit, mid-60's, but didn't make it. I think maybe half way. It was a lovely walk, but when we hit the last set of ascending stairs we decided...More
