This is a good place to walk your dog or just get some exercise. The trail takes you past ruins and some vineyards. The trail is wide and I use our jogging stroller with no issues. During the week it is very peaceful but on...More

Pretty nice lake with a few restaurant choices and some random ruins to see. Nice to jog around or take a walk.

We stopped here as part of a private tour of the area. That way it was no trouble to get there but just to get out of the car and listen to what our driver told us about the history of the area. It is...More

This was a great spot for a dog walk around the lake (very full after the recent rains), and a delicious traditional lunch in le cantine. Drop off the Tangenziale Lago d'Averno exit, head uphill on the SP303 towards Cuma and take the left immediately...More

It was an eerie feeling to look down from the road vista point at the lake considered by the ancients to be the entrance to hell. BUT, that said, it's just a lake and not that much to see. So if you have to make...More

This beautiful lagoon(?) formed by a volcanic caldera is very peaceful. It is a good place to take a picture especially from above. Unless you stop at a cafe, it won't take long.z

The best part of this attraction ya not really the lake, but roaming the streets and hills of Pozzouli. Have a simple lunch or dinner at one of trattorias or pizza bars. For dinner, remember this is Italy, so don't try to find dinner much...More
