This place was my family's favorite to visit. It is beautiful and wasn't really damaged by vandals like Pompeii. There was only one other person there, so it was a much more intimate experience as we walked the ruins. It gives a very different feel...More

This archeological park has much to admire. It is fairly large, with mosaics, columns, marble floors, and frescoes. We arranged a guide in advance, so the attraction came alive for us as an ancient Roman history lesson.

Great swimming on the beach right under the Baia Castle ( La Spiaggia del Castello di Baia). 2 minute boat ride to the beach. Well kept, protected beach. Good food. Beautiful setting.

The bath complex in this small town is worth seeing. Although parking is a bit of an issue, you can appreciate what wealthy Roman life was like as you walk through this huge area of bath and villa ruins. And as an added plus, no...More
