The modern multinational shopping brands are all here, but nothing can distract from the wonderful Venetian and Renaissance frescoes on the first and second floor facades of the buildings. This is a little hidden so on arrival we were disappointed. However we found the old town and it was really worth visiting. It is essentially one street but you can feel the history.

Nice mix of shopping, restaurants and history. Venture down the side streets which all seem to have hidden treasures.

We really liked this place. It was very pretty and there was a bench close by, where we could sit and see the river and Contrada Maggiore.
