This castle is well worth a visit.
The view is wonderful and you can see all around the coastline of Milazzo.
Also the history of this place is fascinating. A lot of conflicts has taken place on this ground since almost a thousand years back....More
We knew nothing about Milazzo until we arrived and were very pleasantly surprised!
The castle is fabulous, not overly commercialised but very nicely laid out and still being excavated.

Good castle covering a large area. It has some English bit really could do with more information so you could really appreciate what you were seeing. The access to the site is steep and on an uneven surface...be aware if you have mobility issues. f...More

Tremendous fortress and easy to get to from the port past fish stalls. The usual pile up of invaders have built here from Greeks to fascists. Now a bit crumbly and fragile. Loved it. Could maybe do with a wee café.

My girlfriend and I spent well over two hours walking around and taking in the beautiful views from the castle. An amazing experience I would recommend to anyone who visits Milazzo. The castle is stunning both internal and external.
