I went to the Le Marze with great expectations together with my family as part of a a larger group travelling from all around Europe to meet in Italy. Initially the place seemed like a nice camping area within many many pine trees and millions of crickets. Not so close to the beach but a very beautiful walking path from the camp to the sea. However from the very first day, the security, beach staff, bar staff were all extremely rude and at certain times openly racist towards foreigners. Anything that an Italian did, the staff were ok with it, however as soon as a foreigner did exactly the same, the staff would get very aggressive. We did complain on several occasions, however even as we had a meeting with the management to discuss this matter, the person in charge stated that anything that happens in the camp against the camp rules is always from foreigners assuming that we or other foreigners in the camp were the bad apples out of thousands of people. It was an extremely distressing experience to have. So if you are not Italian, do not visit. …
