La chiesetta ed il borgo edificati dai Rana

Marghera quindi, periferia industriale di Venezia , ha in questa chiesetta semi- diruta che si trova ai margini della strada, in balia del traffico che potrebbe farla crollare , il monumento più antico della sua comunità . Edificata in poveri mattoni dai nobili Rana ha origini cinquecentesche ma è stata adibita agli utilizzi più svariati , abbandonata per lunghi anni , deposito nell'ultima guerra dei corpi dei caduti ma sempre nel cuore degli abitanti di Marghera . La notizia di un suo recupero dovrebbe por fine alla sua decadenza, destinandola nuovamente a spazio di riunione o per esposizioni .
