A beautiful charch in style barocco luccese. Insight interesting candlestick in form of angels. It was designed by famous architector Giuseppe Zimbalo but the facade was never completed.

The Baroque churches of Lecce merit much more than a quick a glance: look attentively to see the adventurous angles and dramatic facades that have made this city so famous.

The highlights of this church are the statues, not stone or wood, but papier mache. It is interesting but needs some restoration.

As we were passing by this church, the uplifting music attracted us. Although we did not understand Italian, the ethereal chorus was both calming and transformative. The inside was an expected elaborate design.

This is the first church we went into in Lecce and therefore hadn't succumbed to "chiesa overload" which you can tend to get after you have drifted into another of the 26-or-so churches in Lecce! Really lovely church near to the centre and definitely worth...More

This church is nice such as the other churches in Lecce. The characteristic of this church is that the upper part of the facade is missing. I think has been damaged and just fallen in the past.
