We had a wonderful experience in Lake Garda in a 4 hour private boat. The places overlooking the lake are amazingly beautiful and we would never be able to see all that driving a car. It was July and the weather was hot with a...More

Lake Garda is a heavenly place on earth, with lovely towns, restaurants, activities on the lake (boating and sailing) and in the mountains (Mont Balo: trekking and cycling), great car drives, history, museums and churches.

Try to get a whole lake or South lake ferry ticket and see a range of places. The whole lake ticket lets you use the rapid service too, which can substantially cut down journey times.

Do the fast ferry trip up the lake to northern end one day and south next.. Then you can stop over for 45 mins each place and walk around. Each stopover is unique.

Relaxing place to see the sunset. Plenty seated places around the lake with ample parking spaces charged around €1 an hour.

Lago di Garda for me is the best lake in Italy with it's nice water and a lot of places to stay and enjoy it. A lot of sports and relaxing activities can be done there as well as enjoying very tourist but cozy places.

Garda has a beautiful outlook of the lake. It’s even more picturesque at nighttime! There is plenty to do in the town.

Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, is a superb and colorful masterpiece. There is much to do in the summer -- from boating to swimming to shopping to day excursions. This region has the best to offer!

Rent a car - there is a lot of good places to visit around the lake. You can travel by bus, but a car will give you extra posibilities.
