We went by boat to Simrione to use the thermal spa. The weather was overcast and indeed rained hard a few times but it did not in any way detract from our enjoyment of the day out.

Fabulous week, so much to experience. Ferries and local buses make it easy to visit some of the other towns on the lake; however, there is no such thing as queuing!!! Plenty of bars and restaurants along the lakeside to enjoy.

Our hotel was just a stone throw away from the lake, great long walks and bars and restaurants are right by the lake with some fantastic scenery, the water was clear and not to cold

We stay in Garda Town, it has great transport links by local buses and ferries on the lake, we have found June hot! last year we were hitting 40c most days. Lots of places to see and visit as others have stated.

It's not Venice but the service boats are cheap and freqyent. Without a car you may have to depend on buses ... Which again are frequent and monetarily accessable. Great Destination. Cheers.
