Twice a visit today alone. An exceptional location and saw very little of it since it occupies a good area structured submissively. Spacious, manicured, lavender studded in some areas. Unfortunately, for us, the church is currently closed for renovation, but it's still possibly to wander, and wonder, around the nearly all the site. Wonderfully peaceful and interesting. Due visit via Corso Ercole 1 D'Este. The lane looks like the subject of a Pissaro painting,...More

I always found a little bit creepy the visits in cemeteries as tourist, but in Italy they really worth to see. It' not less stunning than a renaissance church ⛪the architecture, the placement, colours and sculptures make this place a real attraction which is to...More

This is a beautiful, tranquil place with stunning architecture. However, it is a cemetery, a place of respect, were locals come to honour their loved ones, so don't expect ice-cream parlours and people having picnics on the grass.

While I was unable to locate any markers or graves of my ancestors, this is a beautiful and quiet place to spend sometime wandering and gain insight into the history of Ferrara's people.

The peace and beauty of this place (including the gardens and green spaces) is breathtaking. The architecture (by Rosetti) is so well proportioned and harmonious that it lifts the spirit. We went there on bicycles and had the place to ourselves. Only downside was that...More
