Unique collection of Etruscan tomb findings in a lovely palazzo with a splendid garden, far from the touristy center but near several other worthwhile sights.

In this museum are exposed the remains of the old site of Spina, which developed about 500 years B.C. There is a rich and extended display of ancient Greek pottery, jewels and so on. The exposition is marvelous and very well-displayed and explained.

Extraordinary collection, great exhibition in a Renaissance Marvellous Palace. What's most compelling than a museum in the museum?! A trip accross History!

Who would have thought? This museum has the largest and best collection of Etruscan artifacts in the world! Pots, necropolis, jewelry, maps, boats and visual presentations of Spina from 450 BC. Don't miss it!

We had no concept of the history of the area and the tremendous Etruscan heritage of the area. An amazing collection of artifacts well presented and explained. A real treasure of a place. Highly recommended.
