Placed across the road from the local Red Cross office Bagni Angelo is centrally located and has one the best beach areas in Diano Marina. As it’s a free beach you can use any free space and put up your own umbrella but if you want to use any of the facilities then you will have to pay a few Euro’s such as the cold shower, foot bidet and toilet. If you want to use their beds and umbrellas the daily rate at the end of August 2017 was €26 for two beds and an umbrella. Like most they other snacks and drinks. The shower, changing room and toilet could do with a make over, its not nice to see green and black mould in the shower. Diano beach is very family friendly the sandy bottom sea bed is very shallow and the sand is fine and soft. Facilities aside if I go back to Diano I’ll most probably end up at Angelo’s.…

We walked past the small marina, and then back along the promenade. There is a pleasant sitting area just to the right of the marina. A beach restaurant was open, and bars on the other side of the road, but the main season was yet to begin. We liked it as it was.
