The lake is beautiful with an amazing color. Water is crisp and fresh and great for a swim on a warm day. The way in this season (June-July) to lake is lovely and plenty with flowers. Highly recommended trail.

Must go place in Cortina. The Tiffany blue lake is so beautiful! The track 215 is the way to follow. You just need to take a bus from Cortina bus station route 30/31 to Passo tre Croci. It isn’t a difficult track. I would still...More

We are a couple in our 50s, in reasonable shape, and this was a good, moderate hike (5.5 hrs return including lunch) with some scary Via Ferrata bits (we are both afraid of heights). Well worth the courage we needed to muster up as the...More

If you're looking to the closest place to heaven, that would be the PLACE. Light blue clear water. The sound of the birds and the reflection that you can on the water.

A moderate challenge to get on and experience the distinct beauty of this lake and a good start to enhance own physical rhythm, a well reserve stamina might be needed to go up and savor the goodness of the lake itself. Highly recommended .

The hike from the parking lot goes from easy to a bit steep near the end. There are some tricky areas but not impossible. There are also large snails, don't step on them! The colour of the lake and the view is unreal. We were...More

Hiked with a local friend in the early morning up to Lago di Sorapiss. The colour of the water is a 'tiffany' blue that has to be seen to be believed. I swam in the shallow lake - it was cold but not numbingly so....More

If you want to see the lake as per google reviews with beautiful coloured water - go in summer with the crowds. We just completed the amazing hike with only seeing a few others on the trail. The only downside was that the lake was...More

Everything the other five-star reviews say is truly of this hike: the trail and views are gorgeous, the lake is supernaturally beautiful. If you're so inclined, it's absolutely worth the trip. HOWEVER! If you are new to hiking or have a fear of heights, prepare...More

You can get to the trailhead by car, but from there you must hike up by foot and it’s 5 hrs return plus 1 hr to enjoy the lake and Rifugio. Well worth it though. Can’t comment on timing as I have only travelled there in... More

No not yet . We are kind of a last minute planners. From what I have seen all places with beautiful location and reasonable price are already booked. What else are you planning to visit in the Dolomites?
