Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The city is beautiful but as almost everywhere in Italy restaurants are closed from 12 - 18 and most people stay hungry till dinner time. Prices of drinks and coffee are very reasonable.

Nice town in the Valdobbiadene area. Probably, nicer than Valdobbiadene itself. Nice cafes and bars to drop by. Lovely, cozy.

There are pickpockets crawling. Also, the light pollution is extremely worrying. Better go here at night.

Conegliano is a small quaint town that is about 20 minute train ride from Treviso. It is a great place to visit, just try to avoid 1:30-3:30PM visits as almost everything is closed during that timeframe. There are a lot of shops and restaurants close to city center.

The castle is an easy uphill walk from the city center area and is definitely a highlight for the visit to this little town. I would dedicate 2-3 hours to see all you can in this town.

We went for a half day trip to Conegliano from Treviso by train, which only took us about 20 minutes. It was worth it, Conegliano is a very neat little town with a castle atop the hill, which you can reach after a very easy walk up the hill. We toured the little town in a short time and visited the Duomo, apart from that we spent most of the time waliong up the hill and then having a nice snack at the Square

like many cities in the area which disappear a bit in the shadow of
"just Venice" it's worth to take a bit time to excuse those places and stroll through those beautiful cities

It is lovely to walk around this historical town centre, still with its frescoed walls and colonnades. It feels pleasingly undiscovered, and so is less crowded than some other places. Recommended for a little chill-out time.

We just loved everything in Conegliano. We stayed at the Canon D'Oro and enjoed the ease with which we could walk outside and be near everything we wanted to see and visit. What beautiful buildings and architecture, and how lovely to see the superb manner in which city officials and local residents have cared for their beautiful town. It is still possible to see ancient frescos all over town, so many of the sidewalks still have the beautiful Italian tiles, the cafes and trattorias are just cozy and cute, the piazza attracts quite a bit of visitors at night, so it's a great place to absorb the local culture.
Luckily we have friends living in Conegliano who were fantastic hosts and showed us the best Conegliano has to offer. Another fabulous convenience is that the town is just a couple of hours from Venice by train. This gorgeous town should be in everyone's list to visit. I can't wait to return!

The historic center is full of ancient historic buildings and really charming. We visited in July and the town was just so floral, beaming with history and full of people. It was impossible to find parking within walking distance to the historic center of the city so we stopped the car for moments here and there and got out for a few minutes to enjoy the atmosphere. It's probably best to visit later in the afternoon when there may be less people.

Lovely little city 1hr direct train ride from Venice or 30 min drive from another terrific undervalued city, Treviso. Conegliano has a small centre and can be visited by foot from the train station in 2-3 hours, if one doesn't stop in one of the many cafe', pasticceria or typical trattorias and restaurants. If you are visiting on foot it's a nice way to experience everyday life in a small, safe cute northern Italian city; make sure you walk along the monticano river, try a patisserie at Firmino and walk along via 20 settembre. If you travel there by car it's a great place to visit the prosecco region and the dolomites from.
