we visited this villa the day after we visited another local villa called san Marco and both places are remarkable. so well preserved and almost empty, really enjoyable couple of hours.

You better visit the Villa Ariana first prior to visiting the Villa San Marco, also in Castellamare di Stabia because otherwise you might feel disappointed.

i would recommend this tour before visiting Pompeii & Herculaneum. This visit allows you to get upclose to the fresco's and walk along the well preserved inlay floors. Wonderful visit, and in walking distance from many hotels
