Beautifully positioned memorial, easy walk from the Abbaye, well worth an hour or two. The Polish story at Cassino is inspiring.

This place is beautiful and well kept. Very deserving for the 1,000 or so polish troops that perished here many years ago.

You can see the Polish Cemetery from the walls at Monte Cassino and wonder what it is with the huge landscaped cross. Our visit was serene and peaceful but the best was the view from a distance. Not worth the trouble if you are pressed...More

This cemetery holds more than 1,000 graves of Polish soldiers and others who fought during WWII in Monte Cassino. They have Crosses and Star's of David. Maintained very well. Worth while place to visit as it is within the Abbey's grounds.

A portion of the sacrifice to take this line. It was good to see the Catholic, Orthodox, and Jewish soldiers in their own sections.

Very interesting history lesson ... Remember that apart from the cemetery there are many trails around the area where the battle took place.
