Interesting road just to get up there, real Italian style winding road all sealed but steep drops over the sides ! You are actually up above the clouds and must pick your time as the mist rolls in very quickly and all your views vanish....More

Spent about 2hours walking the grounds and seeing the interiors. This is a must visit when in Cassino. Take time to get a guided tour of the monetary.

It was just Beautiful could not have had a better day. The sun was shinning from the start to the end. The town of Cassino was also beautiful and well worth the visit

Second time there and was very relaxing and empty, a place to collect your thoughts and look out into the valley. Tour was very interesting and loved the history of the Abbey. Will be back

It's a very long steep walk There are no footpaths and with a windy road and traffic I would not recommend it We didn't see anyone walk up there You could always catch a taxi one way and bus back

guided tour takes a couple of hours Don't know about time as we were on a group tour so all logistics were taken care of

There are 40 steps to climb to get the Abbey church. I did not see any wheelchair ramp for the Church
