Surprisingly beautiful side alters in this Duomo. I felt it was more beautiful as a church than the Duomo in Florence.

It's right beside the new Cathedral and perhaps suffers from being in its shadow. I didn't find it very inviting though the usher was helpful. Its successor is much more attractive.

Worth it to visit since I did not seen anything like it in Europe. Been there twice and will revisit again. Brescia is even a clean, nice and quite city.

Old and historic and nice to wander around when quiet. In the centre an quite a contrast to the new cathedral

If you wouldn't know that this is an 11th century cathedral, most probably you wouldn't even visit it.

A peaceful old Roman Catholic church...make sure you go to the lowest level, it offers weirdly calm atmosphere.

This church has two levels, which makes it unique in its way. Men must take off the cap when entering the church.
