Altough Brescia will not be my favourite city in Italy, because there are so many more interesting cities from a tourist perspective, a couple of spots of course worth the visit, so as the Duomo Vecchio. Really beautiful!

Built in the 10th century in the Romanesque style and a circular shape, it holds several interesting pieces of art, and has a really old crypt dating to the 6th century.

Surprisingly beautiful side alters in this Duomo. I felt it was more beautiful as a church than the Duomo in Florence.

It's right beside the new Cathedral and perhaps suffers from being in its shadow. I didn't find it very inviting though the usher was helpful. Its successor is much more attractive.

Worth it to visit since I did not seen anything like it in Europe. Been there twice and will revisit again. Brescia is even a clean, nice and quite city.

If you wouldn't know that this is an 11th century cathedral, most probably you wouldn't even visit it.
