I was glad I chose to stop by Brescia by train before my arrival in Vicenza. The castle is located about 30 mins on foot by the train station and it's worth visiting! The pictures dont really do justice.

It was really amazing to see so much history in one fantastic place! We had a great time! Saw the museum with lots of history from Roman times to... the afrescos on/in the walls are a plus! Really amazing!

Brixian Castle dominates the city of Brescia, you have a stunning view of all the city. It's open for free tour, or you can visit the Museum for a few euros. It's great for photo sessions, too

Visited, very early after we checked out of our hotel. Glorious day, looked around the whole site, very interesting place. Would visit again when we have more time.

Nothing fancy, but there were great views once you got up there, and it was very chilled out. Staff all seemed lovely too. Can't really fault it
