We were impressed with the cathedral, wandering aimlessly when we saw a sign for the crypt. Not usually the crypt type we wandered down anyway to get away from a pushy group and we were stunned. While the mosaics are not old, they are no...More

We were very fortunate to join a guided tour of this wonderful cathedral, built over three centuries in the medieval era.

A beautiful and well kept church worth a visit. They are renovating the roof and its covered with a cloth. Don't miss the crypt and the amazing mosaics.

The cathedral is undergoing some restoration and they have cloth draped over the ceiling. It's a nice peaceful place not overrun by tourists despite its central location.

For me, it was a pilgrimage to my grandparent's church before leaving Italy, but it was as magnificent a church as I'd seen in the country.

If your in the area stop in and take a look. Still looks amazing considering how old it is. Also a down stairs area that you should go down and see.

Located at Piazza Arringo, the first Piazza you face when you arrive from the train it inmediately gives you an idea of how beautiful this small town was in the past. Well kept beautiful church.

The exterior of this building is stunning, built of white travertine but is best seen at night when it's features are finely defined. This is a lovely cathedral with some fine interior decoration and some superb mosaics.

a very beautiful church with an amazing crypt underneath. when visiting take also a picture of yourself or your mate sitting on one of the chairs in the marmer wall, next to the central door!

Ordinarily, after a while one church can feel much like another for me, but this was different and really interesting. Don't miss the crypt.
