Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A beautiful vineyard with great wine! Livia took us through the long history of the estate, explained how the wines are made and what makes them so special. She had great knowledge of the history of the wines both locally and internationally. She even gave us a private tour when we were the only ones that booked the morning session!
I would strongly recommend a visit and spare some luggage space for a few bottles of their exceptional wines. 🇮🇹🍷

Villa la ripa winery has the charm of an ancient history that is reborn to modernity without losing its roots and tradition.. All this for the ingenuity and passion of the owners, a couple united by complicity and talent
The recovery of the sixteenth-century villa and the vineyard, the construction of the cellar and the wine shop, the high-level catering with typical local products, all contribute to the magic of this place.
The welcome and 'extraordinary and you can not be impressed by the care of the place ..
What about the wines... try them and you will not regret
They are delicious...and of a high standard
Even the oil is of excellent quality
Highly recommended for events or to spend a day with a guided tour of the winery and lunch accompanied by the wines produced here. Don't miss it!!

Villa la Ripa is situated slightly outside of Arezzo - I think you can get a bus although we got a taxi for ease which cost 15€ on the way there then €26 on the way back as they had to call one to come back out for us. It is definitely worth the short taxi ride as it is a beautiful spot with a long driveway lined with cypress trees - very picturesque!
The vineyards are lovely to see although we didn't spend too long outside given the heat. When we were there, there was no wine production actually happening so we didn't see too much about how it is actually made but the tasting itself was interesting and informative. We had four different wines (plus a top up of the final one!) and the two reds were paired with cheeses which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend!

Small family run business, beautiful place and very good quality wines!
We did the “La ripa tour and tasting” tour, a very nice tour in the new and old cellar with tasting of their wines.
We don't give 5 stars only because we would have preferred a more detailed description of the winemaking process.
I recommend it!

The owner and his daughter knows the history of the place very well. They care about the craftsmanship of making good wine and olive oil. It was a very pleasant stay, very relaxed atmosphere and people. Worth it all. Put your mobile phone away and listen to them.

This gem is a fabulous stop for the wine, the olive oil, and the genuineness of the team here. I contacted them via email on a Monday before we were scheduled to drive home from Arezzo to Pozzuoli, and they were able to accommodate us. The Psycho Tuscan red and the SpazioLibero rosata were so good I had to have a case of each. The psycho olive oil is full bodied and another must have. I will definitely bring back friends and family to this vineyard.

9 of us went to visit on our excursion day, a break from our cooking course in Poppi. The villa is very impressive as are the wines. The owner was charming, knowledgeable and personable. I shipped a case home to remind myself of this lovely experience.

A lovely vineyard with beautiful views. We visited with a group as part of our tour. Coach took us down a tiny road and the electric gates to the vineyard failed to open! The gates opened after about a 15 min wait but it made the visit more memorable! The wines were gorgeous and the couple who introduced us to them were lovely, informative and had a good sense of humour. Would recommend a visit here as a lovely couple of hours in a beautiful setting.

During a cooking vacation in Tuscany we visited this winery. The owner joined us for the tour and tasting and made the visit special by relating stories on the history, recovery of the old vines and how he had acquired and restored the place. Delicious wines, well worth sending a case home.

It was a sheer pleasure to sped the morning at the beautiful 15 century Villa La Ripa owned the Luzzi family. The tour of the villa was very interesting, The wines were fabulous ( some won gold and silver medals in national and international competitions). Olive oil was also of top quality and very tasty.
A must visit when in Via del vino in Tuscany.
