12 reviews
Italy’s Piedmont region is known as a gastronomic capital. On this private tour, you won’t just get to taste some of its most famous culinary products—you’ll go behind-the-scenes and see how they’re produced. First, join a truffle hunter and his dog on a walk, and see if you unearth any treasures. Then, transfer to a family-run winery, where you’ll learn how wine is made and enjoy samples of Barolo.

there are times when you have such a great experience that you have to share it. Wine testing in Alba, we came across a real gem. I am lucky enough to go wine tasting each year and I am always delighted to see great passion and dedication in the wine makers we meet. But Frederica and Tino gave us a visit and a tasting that truly memorable. Their winery is hard to find, but so worth it. Such charm, such panache, such a welcome, and ooooooh the wine. The tasting room is small. light museum with beautiful views over the vineyard. But this family understand how to entertain, educate and inspire. The wine got better and better as we fully understood their philosophy and passion. Try their Bricco del Drago......beautiful
