Today this garden also a plant fair and was very busy. There were lots of stalls with good quality plants and a few craft stalls, all very interesting and we bought some very nice plants. It was a little difficult to fully appreciate the garden...More

We visited Great Comp on a very hot day out. This was our first visit. The garden was blissfully quiet and beautifully laid out. There were lots of shady spots and interesting paths and corners to the garden. If you like interpretation boards and activities...More

Narrow lanes to get there and hardly any passing places. Over priced for what is is and it is small. Take a walk for nothing on a local common or wood and you will be just as well entertained.More

Dear Daryl, We are sorry that you did not enjoy your visit to our garden. The garden is accessible more easily via the B2016 Seven Mile Lane, turning onto Comp Lane for 0.5 miles and thus avoiding a long period of narrow country lanes. We...More

Following a notification on line we decided that a visit to this hidden gem in the Weald of Kent would be worth a visit, especially as there would be the added bonus of a variety of chickens on show. It was so nice to see...More

We visited on a quiet weekday and at times felt as if we had the place to ourselves. The gardens were absolutely delightful.....a mixture of formal, woodland, and more informal areas. The rhododendrons and azaleas were at their best. Don’t be off-put by the slightly...More
