Narrow lanes to get there and hardly any passing places. Over priced for what is is and it is small. Take a walk for nothing on a local common or wood and you will be just as well entertained.More

Following a notification on line we decided that a visit to this hidden gem in the Weald of Kent would be worth a visit, especially as there would be the added bonus of a variety of chickens on show. It was so nice to see...More

We visited on a quiet weekday and at times felt as if we had the place to ourselves. The gardens were absolutely delightful.....a mixture of formal, woodland, and more informal areas. The rhododendrons and azaleas were at their best. Don’t be off-put by the slightly...More

Our first visit, we were particularly keen to visit the salvia nursery, and for some inexplicable reason did not realise there were gardens to see too. Having picked the Salvias at this specialist nursery (more than intended, need to make room for them now) we...More

We had two for one tickets with Gardeners World and so only paid £8 for the two of us. For this it was good value for money but I’m not sure we would have been so feeling had we had to pay £16. It is...More

Not much more to add. The gardens are probably at their best in May or June. It's not huge so maybe a couple of hours worth plus time for tea and cake. There's a small nursery on site (a Salvia specialist). The two shop is...More
