TripAdvisor confuses the location of this beach and the Porto Palmas one, though you have to drive past the latter parking. The quite scenic road up there is feasible with a normal car, then you have to park on the cliff overseeing the beach (picture). Then there is a bit of hiking to do on the cliff side, a dusty and rocky path where we've seen people turn around because it's steep and slippery at moments, and the view down is not for those with fear of heights! Please wear good shoes before going down! Then the beach is quite rewarding, few people down there and a nice cala. The sand is very coarse black and white grains, which can heat up very fast and you'll need soles to get to the water. Given the proximity of the cliff there is very little air. There was a bit of swell so the water was opaque with sand and algae so no fishes to be seen. All in all a good experience though a bit disappointing for the effort, so we probably will not return during our stay

Nice beach with surf. Unexpected to find this at the end of a day drive. The town is quaint in a way. Ghost town feel but for the Beac .Woth a visit. Has a cafe for drinks on the beach Easy to get parking.
