The Three Countries Bridge (Dreilanderbrucke, La passerelle des Trois Pays) is an arch bridge which crosses the Rhine between the commune of Huningue (France) and Weil am Rhein (Germany). It is the world's longest single-span bridge dedicated exclusively to carrying pedestrians and cyclists. Its name comes from the bridge's location between France, Germany and Switzerland (about 200 meters).

We stayed at the 3-landenbrucke hotel, at the German side of the bridge. Made a nice walk on the bridge to stretch our legs, after a long drive from Italy

Ok, you bike here on a Sunday, as you can then use the bikepath on west side of the Rhine, alongside Novartis (only open during the weekend), and you avoid the Saturday Rhinecenter shopping crowd and the beggars. It's just a bridge, but you can...More

Nice that you could walk into Germany or France to shop instead of paying those high prices in Switzerland

Travelled from Basel on the tram, did a bit of shopping and eating and saw people walking to the bridge, its hard to image that you have coe from Switzerland into Germany in minutes then walk over this bridge and you are in France

It's a place I like to take guests to, when I want to show them some curiosities of the region. It is also a romantic place. You can spend only a couple of minutes there if you want, or much more if you like to...More

Practical bridge to bring you from France to Germany and Switzerland. Sleeping at the camp in France and walking to Germany to visit Basel is ideal, and much cheaper than sleeping in Basel.

Short way for bikes and by foot crossing the border to France/Germany. Nice view to the "Dreiländereck" and the North part of Basel. For international guests outside Europe: easy bordercrossing without border control

The Rhine seems very wide at this point and the reflection of the sky when there are clouds and sunshine is really quite beautiful even though there are industrial areas around. The 40 or 50 swans, many ducks and seagulls are also impressive to see...More
