My wife and I stopped here while traveling through New Zealand by camper van. Cloudy Bay is well known for their Sauvignon Blanc but also includes a wide range of other wines in their tasting menu. They offer generous cheese platters and have a raw...More

Wonderful ambiance, great food, top service and a magnificent range of high end wines. We’ll be back.

A visit to the winery that put NZ Sauvignon on the quality map is a must, but prices are high and there are much better expressions available elsewhere. Nice outside space though.

An enjoyable visit on a beautiful day. We tasted 3 wines and learned plenty. Cloudy Bay is a favourite of ours. It was nice to try some of their other wines. The grounds are beautiful. We were in a rush but will be back to...More

We enjoyed lunch here. It was sunny and windy, they provided hats if you ate outside (unfortunately, my hat kept blowing off). We didn't do a wine tasting, simply had a quiet lunch on the way out of town. Pleasant and very nice.

We were in Picton and decided to do some solo wine tasting in Blenheim. We'd done the Hop On/Hop Off bus on a previous visit but this time wanted to strike off on our own, pick out one great vineyard and savor the experience of...More

We were on an organised wine trip and so visited 4 vineyards. The service here was poor. We tasted at least 4 different wines but the member of staff serving us was also serving at the tills so we were left waiting in between tastings...More

Always such a magnificent setting here and you could n should stay for hours out in the terraced/ lawn area - beautiful wines too! The Prima Donna older tasting person obviously wished he was somewhere else - not up to the class of this place...More

Very classy tasting rooms (of course the Louis Vuitton brand would provide nothing less) and the wines are good. Just feel that there was less passion about the products and more empahsis on "packaging" compared to other tastings. Nice experience however.

I guess they did a decent wine tasting here but it wouldn’t be my first choice to go back and visit.

Wine tasting can certainly be done on a turn up basis. They charge NZ$10 for a basic tasting of 4 wines of which $5 can be applied to a purchase. I consider this fair as it discourages those that only come to tastings for... More
