I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the sculpture walk but we thoroughly enjoyed it. A lovely walk through the open and native bush, lovely to see the native birds along the way as well as the sculptures. A bit of a climb in parts but nothing too strenuous. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

The winery and sculpture trail are a solid way to enjoy a couple of hours in the New Zealand countryside. If you happen to be in the area or even decide to drive up from Auckland, I would recommend a pleasant stop here (assuming decent weather).

TOur party of seventy-year olds found the sculpture trail to be an easy walk around the water-lily filled lake, with the art pieces scattered among the surrounding trees. Perhaps the pathway is not suitable for some physically-challenged people, and especially those using walkers or scooters, but otherwise an interesting stroll with occasional seats placed under the trees in the shade.... The sculpture trail starts at the Glasshouse Restaurant. It has steps and slopes so not for the totally unfit - but fine for most with plenty of benches if rest is needed. The trail takes you through a magical woodland, punctuated by attractive and sometimes amusing pieces of artwork and sculpture. The walk takes around 60 minutes at a gentle... More

After an excellent lunch with a range of wines available a stroll through the sculpture park helps the digestive system, as well as stimulating the creative mind!

Aim to spend at least one hour strolling around the park. There are some benches along the way to enjoy the views. The park is very pretty, with many ponds/lakes, bush, forest and vineyard. Bring sunscreen as some parts of the trail are in the open. The range of art is impressive (as are the prices, since the pieces are... More
