About
We showcase contemporary sculpture featuring some of the most exciting artists working in New Zealand today. Discover a dynamic exhibition of over 60 large-scale sculptures set in a sublime landscape of towering native trees - majestic palms, a precious kauri forest and established native bush alive with birdsong. The 2 km sculpture trail meanders past lakes, vineyard, forest and open pasture, and offers unexpected intimate views alongside stunning panoramas. Be challenged and delighted by the carefully curated selection of sculpture. Discover works that float, move with the wind or sunlight, or produce an unexpected sound experience – the trail will certainly appeal to all ages. Explore the annual Brick Bay Folly project which is inspired by a quirky interpretation of an architectural ‘structure’ and challenges young architects to stretch wide their imagination. All sculpture is for sale and The Glass House also hosts an indoor gallery with small works from leading NZ sculptors.

A special birthday lunch sitting safely under cover outdoors with a view of the beautiful pond. The quality of our three course meal was top notch from the amuse bouche to the crème brûlée. Both my well travelled guests were truly impressed by the ambiance, service and most of all the food.

we love eating at Brick Bay - it's that little bit special - fabulous setting, the option to walk the sculpture trail, or to just sit and enjoy a couple of hours with great food in a fabulous setting

Excellent restaurant
Kind attentive staff
Lovely meal and excellent wines
The trail was really good
Thankyou for sharing a wee bit of paradise (loved the audio area)

Sitting in rest is a bit like a railway station as everybody walks through it - surely another exit to carpark would be better for relaxing & acoustics

If you love querky art and nature, then this sculpture trail is for you.
Favourite part was being in nature (2-3km) bonus was admiring art along the way. We booked a table at the Glassshouse Brick Bay Restaurant afterwards, and we were NOT disappointed.... I had the tofu salad - it was devine! Service was superb! It was slightly wet but we took our umbrellas (they provide umbrellas too).

Really enjoyed this beautiful walk. I thought it was a really professional set-up, the art was interesting with plenty of information, the setting lovely and it was reasonably priced. Far better than the Sculptureum which I visited a few weeks before. But not suitable for pushchairs or the disabled, as there are quire a few steep parts and uneven ground. The restaurant was very nice too.

Enjoyed a brunch at the Glass House restaurant. Busy and so good idea to book. Allow 1.5 hours for the trail so can stop and enjoy the sculptures.

Outstanding, flavoursome, well-presented food, attentive friendly service, and a unique beautiful setting. A perfect brunch setting for our wedding anniversary.highly recommended. The post prandial sculpture walk just topped it off. Many amazing, thought provoking art pieces spread throughout the forest.

Fabulous food, lovely setting, amazing sculpture trail! Sculpture trail was a real highlight as it was so artfully put together. Entranced by the stereophonic sounds of the Gregorian chants amongst the bird song. Beautiful! Have been recommending it already.
