For the historian of railway history it was very good but there was so much more on the history of this wonderful market town.

The staff were not very helpful, the man in the information centre gave us an out of date pamphlet and hadn't even heard of one of the places we wanted to visit. Nor did he have any recommendations for us. The elderly man who I...More

Right next to the Carriages cafe so convenient to do both. Very small museum focussed on the local Borders history. Amazed to discover my family connection to the Border Reivers, which was fascinating.
