it is a glorious place to visit in April and May when the azaleas are blooming and the bluebells are lovely in the woodland areas and the fresh foliage bursting forth.

A tranquil garden to walk round quietly at any time of year. We visited in early March when the number of flowers in bloom was limited. I imagine that in May or early June it would be spectacular.

Beautiful gardens all year round, but if you get a chance go during the middke weeks of May, the colours of all the different flowers are fantastic.

I rather don't reccomend this place in spring, so that it doesn't get crowded! If you visit in May or June in the weekend, make sure you can park somewhere, as it won't be easy. Otherwise it's the perfect place to be.

Isabella Plantationis a little hidden gem in the middle of Richmond Park. If you go when the rhododendrons are in full bloom you are in for a dazzling range of colour, a real eye opener.

A particularly gorgeous area within the treasure that is Richmond Park. Lush, calm and fecund. A fabulous variety of plantation. A really special place.

The Isabella Plantation is popular in May when it is in full bloom and tourists flock there. But to go in the winter, it’s so well tended to by the numerous gardeners it is still beautiful. Walking along the many little paths is so interesting....More
