Good to photograph from either side, it makes a fine subject. Walking across it provides good views of the River Thames in both directions. It hasn't changed much in decades and if you're driving in the area, it can be quite a bottleneck at times,...More

Richmond Bridge is a gorgeous bridge that has a lovely view both ways. Lined with Victorian style iron streetlamps plus a few benches / viewpoints. I can rarely cross the bridge without stopping to take in the beauty. By day, watching the sun shimmer on...More

A lovely area that makes you feel like you're in a painting. Fun pubs and restaurants in the area. Great place to just sit and watch the going ons.

This is a proper bridge as you'd imagine it to be. Arches, excellent stonework and stunning look over the Thames. Love it.

I learned today that this is the oldest surviving Thames bridge in London. From whichever side you view it, the stone arches are beautiful. The river and nearby river banks are great places to admire it from.

Makes a good background for a photo, interesting to look at and even take a boat trip underneath it.

This is not like many of the Bridges over the Thames. It has a wide path airy feel and it gives great views both sides. We stayed a good half hour admiring the views up and down the river. With shops either side to spend...More

This bridge is not spectacular like Hammersmith Bridge but is very beautiful when seen from either direction along the Thames Path. The Thames Path continues either side of the river although almost all visitors walk on the South side (Richmond town side). The North side...More

Richmond bridge is an 18th century stone arch bridge that spans the River Thames in Richmond and was first opened in 1776. It is 91 metres long and is a very busy road link from Twickenham to Richmond.
