Traditional seaside fun

Great fun all round. Plenty of rides and slot machines to take your money. Nice cafe at the far end.

We visited the Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare twice last week with our grandchildren and found it much better value than a day trip to Butlins - and that doesn't include the parking at Butlins, where we paid £48 for a family ticket and extra for...More

We had fun on the pier but the attractions work out very expensive and the place was far too crowded. It was a rainy bank holiday so everyone in Weston was heading to the pier and with the main entrance being full of obstacles, loads...More

I believe that the admission fee of £1.00 was still charged on the most important remembrance day for decades. Weston beach had a carving in the sand to remember all those who had fought in the First World War and apparently Weston Pier was the...More

Thank you for your recent review. We supported, alongside Theatre Orchard, the lead up to Weston-super-Mare’s portrait on Sunday 11 November. We donated free room hire for two function rooms on the Pier on two separate days for performers and artists to practice. We have...More

Visited on a cold overcast November day and it was a very chilly walk up the pier. Luckily there is a central covered walkway. Entrance is £1 per adult which I suppose is reasonable. We spent approximately an hour and half wandering around the amusement...More

It's worth it for a walk on the pier itself to be out over the sea but there's lots to see and do when you get to the end. There's an amazing range of games, arcade machines and rides - especially if you have children...More

Piers are a tradition at many British tourist spots. Sadly this one charges and entrance fee, which is pretty ridiculous as people are going to spend more money when they're there - and this may well stop many of them entering.More

Cheeky £1 entrance onto the pier. The attractions at the end of the pier are good value if you get the wristband and stay there a long time. Our 2 went round and round on ride after ride countless times.
