Easily found when stopped in Ventnor as following the shoreline but halfway, path goes though woodland and was quite steep in places

To start off, on Shanklin seafront follow ‘coastal path’ signs along beach, past the Fisherman’s Cottage pub and then up some steep steps. Grand View on the way up. Tea Gardens at the top. Along the route a fair number of ups and downs. Mainly...More

I will admit now, I did not do the complete walk from Shanklin to Ventnor. We were staying in Shanklin, so walked along the Coastal Walk. We also went to Ventnor Botanical Gardens from where you can take the Coastal Walk to Steephill Cove. This...More

This is a stunning walk! We didn't really know what to expect, but loved loved loved it! It's not a short walk, so wear comfy shoes, but the views and the surroundings are great!! Highly recommend for people who love to explore nature!

There is a very pleasant coastal path walk between Ventnor and Shanklin with wonderful views and in most is clearly marked. The old church at Bonchurch is worth visiting and was open on both occasions that I did the walk. If you are feeling fit...More

A walk was taken during weektime afternoon at about 6pm. It was deserted. Also, road at places was a bit slippery due to water running down from clifs. Some of bushes on the clif side were beutiful to watch though.
