Lovely walk through the chine, benches to rest at a variety of points. Bit of a climb back up afterwards though. Ideal place to take your camera as it's very pretty.

Excellent waterfall leading into the idyllic chine. Loads of history. Well worth a visit. Don't forget the to watch the film about Pluto. Pipeline under the ocean. See the squirrel hide and rescued birds. Finish off in the tea room.

Visited Shanklin chine as dusk was falling so the illuminations were on, totally transforms an already picturesque woodland walk, turns it into a real fairytalesque enchanted forest

Nice walk through the forests to see the waterfall. Reasonably priced and good for kids. We went with a pushchair - wouldnt really recommend it with one to be honest. Lots of photo opportunities :)

We enjoyed our two visits to Shanklin Chine, one by day and one in the evening with the illuminations. The children enjoyed wandering beside the streams and over the bridges. The birds were a nice extra touch too. I would highly recommend it!
