This is one of the best National Trust venue's we have visited. The carriage museum added to the day spent here. Lovely gardens, very knowledgeable people in the house. The usual good National Trust tea room.

This house is unique if you want to visit somewhere that still feels alive and lived in. Very impressed, not over big but very enjoyable.

So many public walks, we ended up walking round this place without knowing. Pay at the National trust car park and walk your heart out. If we wanted to see the house or coach collection, we would need to pay, otherwise we enjoyed the whole...More

Sorry , I can't remember if its an inclusive price. You need good weather to view the gardens and estate though. I have visited often enough to know rain isn't good for walking through the lower estate

Not absolutely certain, as we don't have a dog, but I did see some people with dogs on leads around the grounds but not in the house or carriage museum. Hope this helps.
