Call in quite often with the grandchildren. You will struggle to find a public park as nice as this one. The children’s play area is ideal for all ages and the cafe has everything you need for a snack or an ice cream.

Having been brought up in Barrow, I have spent a lot of time running around this Park. It is incredibly beautiful and has a surprising amount of things to do: live music at the bandstand; boating on the lake; miniature steam train ride; walks in/around;...More

Love this park, been coming here for years, lovely place for me to walk the dogs, the children can play in a nice clean area, there is something for everyone and a nice little cafe for refreshments.

Lovely well kept. Lots of ducks and swans. Nice play area. Greenhouses are usually a lovely show. Plenty of clean grassed areas.

The cafe and it's out door setting takes me back to before being a teenager in Patcham and later when I lived in Brighton Sussex. It's a sunny day and there is the same atmosphere. It could be the 60s. Lots of choice of ice...More

This is a very well kept and "Old School " park .With flowered walkways , bowling greens, band stand, boating lake. Something Barrow can be proud of. It's a green sanctuary in a busy town.

This park was close to our hotel and is quite lovely. In the centre is a lake with boats, lots of little grassy and woody walks around it. A very nice Victorian garden park.
