We enjoyed a family walk along the pier - taking obligatory photos with heads poking through comedy picture boards! The children loved wandering about over the beach and sea! Good selection of amenities to be enjoyed and love that the theatre still attracts really decent...More

A more traditional pier than wellington pier, but still full of arcades and rides and heart attack inducing food. Tokens for rides expensive here: 4 cost £4.80 for two on the carousel. Wouldn’t be rushing back!

Typical pier with amusement arcades, various eateries and a theatre. Most piers don’t seem to change, it’s like stepping back in time. (Not always a bad thing!) Ok to visit if in Great Yarmouth.

...a great focal point for amusements, bars and a theatre for summer shows. Just a pity that there were no shows on when we visited (late June/early July). Looked like there were some great acts booked for later in the season. Still worth a visit....More

Am I a bit unoriginal to point out the "pier" ends 20meters short of the sea? It's not bad and doesn't seem to have changed much since my previous visit 20 years ago.. although I'm sure it used to be in the sea then

This is one of the best of the great British seaside piers. Take a look past the arcade and slot machines on the pier and you will see a great example of the Victorian pier with its long wood boards and theatre at the end....More

My husband came up to Yarmouth for the weekend to see the airshow. During our stay, we visited the Britannia Pier and really enjoyed it there. There's plenty to do and lots of nice places to stop for a cuppa or a ice cream.
