My wife and I visited Somerleyton Hall and gardens during the summer holidays. It was easy to find by car and there was plenty of parking. The garden has lots of nice plants and is well looked after. The house dates back to the Jacobean...More

Lovely hall and tour with great guides. Quirky, and full of wonderful art and curios. Gardens are beautiful and very well kept. The box hedges are quite something. The cafe is charming with yummy (what seems to be homemade) scones and sausage rolls. Would definitely...More

Superb and interesting country house with excellent, friendly and knowledgeable guides. A variety of wonderful gardens, an arboretum and a maze! Huge grounds with loads of parking space. Pleasant cafe and restaurants. A most enjoyable visit.

Nice gardens, interesting old trees. Bad disabled access around the grounds. We braved the maze and found our reward for getting to the middle, a dilapidated old pergola, paint pealing, had seen better days. Also the mound on which it stood was waist high in...More

Spent an enjoyable morning rambling around the grounds. It has an interesting maze. The gardens are well kept. For lunch had a very good clotted cream scone in the cafe garden.

I considered this to be an unexpected gem! The gardens are a delight to visit, with many really mature trees, and evidence of good maintenance, with a fair bit of on-going new tree planting too; and the paths were fine for pushing a buggy. I'd...More

We spent a wonderfully relaxed afternoon here. The house tour really is a must if you enjoy history as so many interesting things about the house and surrounding area (fully wheelchair accessible). The gardens are stunning and so well kept. There is a lot of...More

A lovely house which can only be seen by a guided tour and quite a plain garden. A very interesting maze which must be done. Tea room was very good and housed in the original greenhouse!
